Lagoon Fun!

We headed out for Lagoon on Friday after Brent got off work. The girls were so excited and then we hit nasty traffic. All of us girls thought we would never get there. We arrived and sent up our tent, the girls were so excited they would be sleeping in a tent. Trying to explain we were not going to lagoon till the next day was difficult for two little girls. We had a great time and enjoyed our weekend. We camped with Brent's family so it was nice to spend time with them and relax in their air conditioned motor home. We got home late Sunday afternoon and let me tell you I was so excited to crash at 8:30pm along with the kids!
The merry go round was one of Aspen's favorites, she would have ridden it over and over!
Ice cream in this heat was the perfect treat but it was hard to keep it from melting everywhere. The girls were a royal sticky mess. I took them in the bathroom and had to rinse off their clothes.



Poor Aspen. She has this big sister Sage who loves roller coasters, and scary high rides. Aspen wants to go and then regrets it. Lucky for her Dad was brave and went with her.


Aspen back at camp eating her mandarin oranges and playing with her markers.Sage has a thing for her cousin Brooks, she had to eat all her meals next to him and he was very patient and watched Beauty and the Beast with her. (But he may have just been after the nice cool breeze from the a/c!)
